On May 22, 2009 the Carolina Kennel Club is donating 29 Pet Recovery Oxygen Mask Kits to the Guilford County and City of Greensboro Fire Departments.  Each Kit contains 3 different sized masks.  The small mask can be used on birds, cats, ferrets and small dogs, the medium and large sized masks will fit the larger dogs.

While the Carolina Kennel Club hopes the fire departments will not need to use the masks, it is a comfort to know that they have them available to help pets recover from the effects of smoke and fire.
